"Crafting a Catrina is like
writing a poem,
each detail and
every brush stroke
has a purpose,
it's magic"
- MaJo Miranda -
Throughout the years, María José has acquired an extensive collection of authentic Mexican wardrobes, featuring unique pieces from Oaxaca, Michoacán, Jalisco, Veracruz, and Chiapas, to name a few. Her collection is enhanced by custom-designed pieces executed by a trusted collaborating artist in Guadalajara, as well as a close partnership with a dear friend and entrepreneur behind Bordadito Corazón in Oaxaca. Through this special connection, she continues to expand her curated selection of intricately hand-embroidered regional garments and stunning, one-of-a-kind Mexican filigree jewelry.
With her work, she seeks to capture the vivid colors and craftsmanship of traditional Mexican clothing and accessories, while showcasing these original artistic creations. Her carefully curated Catrinas captivate any venue or event; models are transformed into something spectacular—a true feast for the eyes.
